She has a variety of designations, including a degree in Economics, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI).

Outside of work, Salma enjoys flexing her creativity, as well as gathering with friends, cooking, hosting a family dinner or travelling. She loves trying new restaurants, staying physically active, and is up for trying anything new outdoors. She has recently taken up golf and enjoys hiking with family and friends.
