You're eligible to apply for an ATB Alberta Mastercard - Secured if you meet all the following criteria:
- are a resident of Alberta
- are at least 18 years old
- have not declared personal bankruptcy in the past five years
- intend to use the card for personal use only
A minimum of $500 is required to open an ATB Alberta Mastercard - Secured account. This collateral is held only until your credit rating has been established, or until you choose to close your account and the balance is paid in full.
