Transfers by Interac e-Transfer are often processed right away, but it can take up to 30 minutes for the payee to receive a notification.
Your company can send and receive up to $25,000 per transfer, up to a daily maximum of $9,999,999.

When a customer sends funds by Interac e-Transfer to the registered company email address, an email is sent to you with the sender’s name, the amount deposited and any message the sender included.
Yes. There are standard limits to how much you can send and receive each day. Limits can also be customized to different users by account administrators in ATB Business.
- Maximum outgoing limit: $25,000
- 1-day rolling limit: $9,999,999
- Maximum incoming limit: $25,000
If you attempt to make a transfer that would result in you exceeding these limits, you will receive an error message notifying you that the transfer cannot be completed.
