Whether you chose a full package or just a chequing account, complete these two tasks within 60 days of opening your chequing account.

  1. Recurring direct deposit: Receive a deposit of $350+ (e.g., payroll, pension, or government) at least once monthly for two consecutive months.
  2. Two payments ($50+ each): Complete two qualifying transactions. Mix and match bill payments (internet/utilities) and pre-authorized debits (mortgage/credit card bill).

Your ATB Mastercard® next steps

If you choose a package, finish these three tasks within 60 days of opening your eligible ATB Mastercard. Please note that to earn the cash bonus, your eligible ATB Mastercard must be opened at the same time as or after your new eligible chequing account.

  1. Welcome bonus*: Make your first purchase to earn your initial rewards points.
  2. Spend goal: Reach the spend target ($700 for ATB Gold My Rewards Mastercard or $3,000 for ATB World Elite Mastercard).
  3. Connect accounts: Make at least one payment to your new ATB Mastercard from your new eligible ATB chequing account.

The offer TLDR

  • Complete step 2 to earn a chequing bonus, or finish all steps to unlock the full package value.
  • Accounts must remain open and in good standing for 12 months to keep your bonus.
  • Provide a valid email address when setting up your account so we can help you track your progress and notify you of your payouts.

Cash Bonuses: Once you've met the requirements* (like your monthly direct deposits or Mastercard spend requirement), we’ll deposit the cash directly into your eligible ATB chequing account. You can expect to see your bonus within 60 days of meeting all the offer criteria.
